Someone once said, "He who has health, has hope; he who has hope, has everything".  Dr. Yono has dedicated his life to studying and practicing medicine.  Starting at the age 18, the decision to align oneself with an internist is paramount to sustaining good health.  Internal Medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of internal diseases.  Once this relationship is fortified, it becomes much easier to preserve health then cure a disease.

 

Dr. Yono is a private physician and not an employee of a health care system.   As a result he takes great pride in running an efficient practice.  He understands the value of your times.  When you come for a visit, he can assure you that you wont be walking into a bustling waiting room and wasting your valuable time.  He also promises you will leave your appointment knowing you had plenty of time to spend on your pressing needs.    Time is our most precious asset, you should invest in it wisely.

 

Any emergency resulting in a hospitalization can be one of the most stressful experiences one could go through in life.  Dr. Yono has priviliges at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak.  If you are a part of Dr. Yono's practice and find yourself there, rest assured Dr. Yono will be able to see you.  Having your primary care physician taking care of you in the hospital setting used to be a custom in years past.  However with the explosion of hospitalist physicians, most people will find themselves cared for by a complete stranger during this trying time.  Dr. Yono spent many years practicing medicine as a hospitalist prior to managing his outpatient practice.  The comfort and solace patients feel at there bedside will remain a huge priority in his quest for continuity in patient care.
